We're located just off King St. in the lower level (Suite 2) of 120 E. Wilson St., beneath Tempest Oyster Bar. Our entrance and parking stalls are located on the right side of the building. If the parking spaces are full, you can use street parking or the Wilson Street Parking Ramp which is one block away on your right just as you pass our building. (The Wilson Street Parking Ramp has replaced the Government East Parking Ramp.)

We're owners Renee and Chris Thomas, welcome to Escape This! We've lived in Madison for over 25 years and Chris is a UW grad, originally from Appleton, WI. Renee's a Missouri Tiger turned Badger which is a whole other story! We took the leap in October 2015 and decided to pursue this business, officially opening in January 2016. Since then, we have been heads-down, focused on creating and delivering top-rated escape game experiences for families, friends and co-workers.
HOW DID WE GET INTO THIS? We were on a last minute National Park family road trip and during our travels, came across an escape room. We had a great time and immediately said - we can do this! We had talked about opening a business and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. The concept leveraged our skills perfectly: Chris's background in engineering, programming and carpentry and Renee's experience in marketing, event planning and employee development. The thought of providing a creative, interactive and thought-provoking experience for weekend fun as well as weekday team building was exciting and something we thought would go over great.
FUELED BY CUSTOMER LOVE We get a real rush when we see just how much people enjoy this experience. Watching the game dynamics fascinates us and we love debriefing with teams. It motivates us to keep creating and to stay true to our commitment to deliver amazing customer experiences.
HAPPY TO DO BUSINESS IN MADISON We've enjoyed living and raising a family in Madison and find it just as enjoyable as business owners. The people who've come through our doors are friendly and fun-loving. They show a genuine appreciation for what we've created and are supportive of our small business. We love the energy of downtown and the fact that we're adding to it with our experiences. We've also found that local companies and organizations recognize the importance of employee development and have embraced escape games as a valuable team building activity.
